· Overview
Porous paving systems allow water to percolate or infiltrate through the pavement surface and back into the ground where the water is cleaned and returned to ground water supplies. The system can also be used for storage and filtration of rainwater.
Missouri Petroleum stocks these porous paving systems. Contact us to find out which one is right for you. info@missouripetroleum.com

o Grass Protection (GP) Mesh – A heavy duty extruded polymer grid for protecting and reinforcing grassy areas to be used by vehicles with an imposed loading of up to 8 tons per axle. Once established, GP will protect the grass roots from damage and help prevent rutting. Installation is easy and quickly carried out by rolling the mesh out over the area to be protected and pinning down with Fixing Pins. For best results, GP should be installed in the Spring when the grass will grow quickly through the grid forming a root mass around the mesh filaments. The area will soon resume its natural appearance providing a stable surface for heavyweight vehicles.
o Turf Reinforcement (TR) Mesh – A very strong, high density polyethylene net; once installed, it provides a very stable surface, perfectly suitable to withstand the loading of cars and light-weight trucks. TR protects against ground rutting due to car traffic and ensures a good grasp for grass roots. It is ideal for car parking during events, concerts or exhibitions, for storage of caravans, or for green play areas. The finished effect is a naturally green environment with a stabilized surface. For best results, TR should be laid down in the Spring when the grass will grow quickly through the mesh and the root mass will form an interlock with the mesh filaments. TR can be used for either temporary or permanent applications.
o Applications
§ Temporary & overflow parking
§ Event parking
§ Golf course cart paths & trails
§ Driving ranges & golf course anti-ball plugging mesh
§ Livestock & Zoos
§ Athletic fields
§ Beach access
§ Agricultural areas
§ Grass taxiways and airstrips
§ Cemeteries
§ Emergency & utility access
